Service Description

Each 45 minute coaching session will be tailored to each client's personal needs with Industry Professional Lauren Williams. Topics to be discussed can include how to get an agent or manager in Hollywood, New York or the South, When to move to LA and where to live, how to get great auditions, how to meet casting directors, best practices for self taping, parents your child wants to be in the entertainment business? We can talk the do's and don'ts for parents! We will discuss the ACTUAL business of acting, directing, writing and producing: how to read a contract, negotiate a deal, when to submit a headshot resume, script, pitch packet, demo reel, directing reel, when do you need a lawyer, what is the difference between and agent and manager and do you need both, what you should be paid for work and more- these are things you don't learn in school. Lauren wants to share her real life experiences and the experiences of my clients to anyone who is trying to figure out the complicated entertainment business. Lauren's experience in Hollywood at top talent agencies and management companies as well as being raised in the south give her a unique perspective on breaking into the entertainment business. Lauren served on the board of Women in Film for 8 years and helped to run their mentorship program, in addition, Lauren has spoken on panels of several film festivals including Savannah Film Festival, SCAD ATV Fest and Nashville's Film Comm. Sessions can be one on one with Lauren or family sessions can be arranged at no additional charge. In person for Northern Alabama and Zoom for all others!
