LAUREN WILLIAMS

Lauren’s love of Performing Arts began as a child when she would sing, dance and perform for her family. She jumped at the chance to “act for real” and was accepted into the theater department during her sophomore year at Brookwood high school. She performed in many shows including Bye, Bye Birdie, The Robber Bridegroom, Cinderella, The Boyfriend, and Guys and Dolls. Lauren’s love of performing arts continued to grow so she decided to go west for a while to attend the University of California at Santa Barbara where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre with an emphasis in Directing.

Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Lauren began her entertainment career in 2008 in the TV Literary Department at International Creative Management Partners (ICM) in Los Angeles. In 2010, she was promoted to Agent in their Talent Department.

In 2018, Lauren transitioned from ICM Partners to Echo Lake Entertainment as a Talent Manager in order to collaborate with her clients on their producorial pursuits as well as their talent careers. She also gained experience as a producer where she worked on developing shows for Quibi, Apple, 20th Century Fox, and producers Simon Kinberg, Ken Olin and Larry Wilmore.

In 2020, Lauren decided to move to Huntsville/Madison to be closer to family and continued to work as a Talent Manager for Echo Lake and then Link Entertainment until May 2022 when she decided to pursue her dream of opening a Performing Arts School! Lauren is getting married in September to a wonderful man and in her free time she loves teaching swim lessons, spending time with her niece and nephew and cooking gourmet meals.

Lauren’s other professional accomplishments include:

  • Teaching seminars at the University of California Santa Barbara, Savannah College of Art and Design, The SCAD Atlanta TV Festival, North Fork Television Festival and The Nashville Film Com.

  • Working with Shakespeare Santa Barbara as an assistant director and educator. 

  • Serving on the Board of Women in Film in Los Angeles, CA from 2013 to 2022. 

  • She’s a member of the Motion Picture Television Fund Friends Committee.

  • She’s on the advisory board for the SCAD Film Festival.
